IF The Shoe FITZ: Sláinte And Slán

As I am sure you all know "Sláinte" is a Gaelic saying meaning "to your health" as distinct from the shorter word "Slán" which means Goodbye.

Well today is a day for both salutations.
 
I want to wish you all good health and I want to say goodbye.
 
Today will be my last day of publishing "IF The Shoe FITZ" and over the next two weeks I will be winding down and ultimately departing RJO to take up a new opportunity.
 
I will no longer be publishing externally in my new position.
 
I would like to sincerely thank everybody who has supported my product both in the last 18 months and prior to that during my time at Citi. I have been very fortunate to wake up every day and do what I love.
 
That will continue but in an internal rather than external fashion going forward.
 
I also really want to thank the people at RJO who welcomed me onboard 18 months ago. It has been a great experience working with you over the last 18 months.
 
I am sure with many of you our paths will cross again in the future but until then "Go n-éirí an bóthar leat"
