The S&P turned lower into a 7% correction on 17 July 2000 (Bottoming on 28 July 2000)
 
This came after a rally of 62% into 17 July 2000 which began on 08 October 1998 after the Russia/Asia/LTCM crisis caused a correction of 23% from July to October 1998

 
This present rally has been 64% into 16 July 2024 which began on 13 October 2022 after a 19% correction from August to October 2022
